Canada voted and nominated the following locations in Nunavut...
The top Canadian places that Canada would like to see immortalized in song:
· Road To Nowhere (Iqaluit)
· Alert
· Baffin Island
· Iqaluit
· Auyuittuq National Park
Canadian singer-songwriters revealed in the voting stage have also been announced. The artists for Nunavut are:
· Charlie Panigoniak
· Ellen Hamilton
· Leena Evic
· Lucie Idlout
· Sylvia Cloutier
It’s now up to Canadians, once again, to choose the artist and pick the spot to be forever commemorated in Canada’s songbook.
Please be a champion for in your community for brand new, original Canadian music and put your community on the map! Help us spread the word and encourage votes for the location in your community along with one of the five Canadian singer-songwriters. Voters have from today until Friday, October 23 at 12 a.m. ET to vote at http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/songquest/index.html.
